Pratham Sharma got Gold medal in 1st open North East and West Taekwando Championship
Chandigarh: 1st open North, East and West Taekwondo championship were held at Gharwal Bhavan Sector 29, More than 250 participants from all over Punjab, Himachal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, UP totally 250 participated in the event.
Participants from Chandigarh state stood frist, Haryana stood second and Punjab won the third position.
Participants Pratham Sharma, Tejas, Raghav. Mehreen, Mansvi, Vedaant Jhon, Aanvi, Areeb, Kushagra won the gold medal.
Silver medal winners were Daspreet, Garnoor, Navish. Rajshiri, Sidak.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Pritum Negi, Founder of Cirket Academy Sector 85 Mohali appreciated the participants and shared his experience as being a sportsperson with the participants.
Mr Pritum Negi also motivated the parents of the participants to not to compromise with the sports activities of Children with studies and added that sports are equally important and must be encouraged at all times for better tomorrow.
